BACKGROUND
Betsy Butler, a native of Augusta, GA, has enjoyed a diverse background. She received BS and MBA degrees from Georgia State University and worked in financial services, including banking and retail stock brokerage. Betsy also played professional tennis and parlayed that experience into sports management-working with athletes and sponsors. She continues to be active in Atlanta tennis leagues and commands respect on the golf course. She began her real estate career in 1998 and has represented both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions. Betsy serves as Managing Broker for Blue Sky Real Estate Group.
Betsy, who bought her first home in Virginia Highlands in 1983, now resides in Morningside. She has invested in single family, multifamily and commercial real estate in and around Atlanta. She believes that a balanced portfolio that includes real estate is a prudent component for anyone seeking economic independence.
